À propos de l'auteur

Allan P. Seckel was Deputy Attorney General for British Columbia and co-chair of the working group who initiated the new civil and family rules for the BC Supreme Court. He has also been Head of BC Public Service, Cabinet Secretary and Deputy Minister to the Premier of British Columbia. He has extensive litigation experience, with particular emphasis on complex litigation, class actions, pensions and trust law.
James C. MacInnis practises corporate commercial litigation with Nathanson, Schachter & Thompson, a Vancouver litigation boutique. Mr. MacInnis' practice is focused on commercial and business disputes, including contractual disputes, professional negligence, defamation, and securities matters. Mr. MacInnis graduated as gold medallist from the University of British Columbia Law School. He then served as the judicial law clerk to the Chief Justice of British Columbia. He is the co-editor and contributing author of Business Disputes in British Columbia. He is the co-author of a civil procedure manual published annually by Carswell that is used by litigators throughout British Columbia.
